Shares of Affirm had been falling sharply Friday after the “purchase now, pay later” firm issued a fiscal third-quarter income forecast that was beneath analysts’ expectations.

Affirm (ticker: AFRM) dropped 17.2% to $48.60 after the corporate mentioned it expects income within the present quarter of $325 million to $335 million, beneath Wall Avenue forecasts of $335.5 million.
